- Installation under OSX is very easy. The Package Installer will:
- Configure Apache for you:
- Enable PHP language support
- Add an "Music" alias so that your music can be streamed
- Find your music library by scanning your iTunes configuration for the physical location of
your music and set your YoDJ.ini file to point there
- Create a desktop alias to YoDJ so you can easily find it and make further edits to your YoDJ configuration
- Any existing file that is changed will be saved with a new extension
- Launch your browser with a web page showing the install log and a link to launch YoDJ
- The install takes only seconds and then you are up and running. Please do take advantage of it.
- If you prefer to install by hand. Follow the steps outlined in the Unix Manual Install Guide. This will
require you to edit several files in terminal mode.
